Happy Mother’s Day

Like most ladies, I think my mom was the most special lady in the world.  I have such wonderful memories of her and think of her every day.  She went home to be with the Lord many years ago, but she left such a loving legacy that her grandchildren still remember and talk about her all the time.  She set the standard for being a Mom.

I love being a mother, and a grandmother.  I have been blessed beyond my wildest dreams to be Mother to my amazing Daughter Kelly.  When she was born I had no idea how much fun this one little girl would be and change my life.  I have loved being with her every minute of every day.  She’s my best friend and the one who always makes me so proud and melts my heart.  Then the Lord Blessed me with two very special and amazing boys.  These guys are the best of friends.  Such fun as they were growing up and going to all the football, baseball, and basketball games.  I use to cringe every time they tore down another car and rebuilt another motor, but they always put them back together and they ran beautifully.   These guys are such special and amazing men and they have always treated me like a Queen.

Next to a Daughter,  the next best thing is Daughters – in – loves.  When the men in the family marry the most amazing girls and these ladies treat you with such love and kindness, how can life get any better?  I thank God every day for these special women too.  These ladies gave me grandchildren.  Grandchildren are the bonus gifts from Heaven to all Mothers.  I adore these precious gifts and every minute I get to spend with them.

TO ALL THE DAUGHTERS, DAUGHTERS-IN-LOVE, AND SPECIAL WOMEN IN YOUR LIFE —   HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!  Be sure to thank the Lord for these amazing Blessings, they are special gifts of His love.

    Happy Mother’s Day Marty.
As I was flipping thru and reading about the ” Builder basic” you bought, I was wishing you would show the photos of the empty house again before you transformed it. You bought that house to be closer to family, not knowing of things to come. Thank you for sharing the ups and downs with thousands of your closest friends.

Thank you, I do show them in a post a few years ago. Maybe time to re-post all the makeovers again. Happy Mothers Day to you.

Beautiful post, I am glad you had a happy and wonderful day. I am blessed to still have Mum with me (she is 97!!). She is great, lives alone, in her own house still!!

    All the best.
