Last Saturday we had a fabulous evening celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Univ. of Arizona Extension program. There were wonderful displays showcasing some of the current programs, and many deserving people were honored for their work and contributions over the last 100 years.
The 4H club had a group of Cloggers perform and they were fantastic. That was followed by a wonderful dinner of beef and chicken furnished by local farmers.
I thought the centerpiece on all the tables was so unique and pretty.
I won the one on our table. The flowers are from local nurseries and –
the base is an old plow blade. How fun is that and what a fitting idea for this program.
The colors look perfect in my dining room.
We had a really fun evening honoring some well deserved friends.
So, think outside the box and maybe use an old plow for your next floral arrangement.
