I love to be silly sometimes and those that know me know that I am silly “A Lot”. My home can get to looking really stuffy if I don’t lighten up a little every once in a while. I was going through my scarfs the other day and finding a few that I could donate to goodwill when I came across a designer scarf that I have had for quite a while. It is one I forgot about, but use to wear all the time. When I saw it, I just had to play.
Isn’t this fun. I have black/white/orange and pumpkin in my living room, so this was just meant to be to add a little fun to the dining area.
See the orange/pumpkin accessories that I have in the living area. Is this not the perfect colors or what?
Some of my favorite blogs that I love to follow and totally enjoy are not only chic but full of fun and whimsy too in their decorating style. Dimples and Tangles is one I always look forward to seeing what she has been up to. She mixes tons of colors and patterns together for such gorgeous, chic and fun spaces.
How can you not love a room with all this pattern and texture. Fur, cowhide, leopard, plaid and it all looks amazing mixed together.
This is a different version of her sofa showcasing Shumacher’s Chiang Mai Dragon fabric. I love that she mixes the leopard with everything. It really does become a neutral.
So “JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT” I left the scarf on the table. It makes me smile every time I walk through this room. I agree with Jennifer, I think any kind of animal print is definitely a neutral.
Do you decorate just for the fun of it sometimes too?
