Wonder why all of a sudden it seems some things just fall apart. My shades for my DR chandy just did that, so time to replace.
This is what came with my light, a soft off-white pleated shade. I liked the look, however – – –
They were so dusty I couldn’t get them clean anymore. All of those little pleats just grabbed onto all the dust and the trim started pulling loose, so they looked terrible.
Time for new. I decided to go for a complete change by getting the black with gold foil liners.
The gold really glows when they are lit. The only downside is they cast a sort of yellow glow on the table.
I do think they are pretty with the black in the picture frame.
Love the updated look, I just have to get use to the yellow glow.
