You know that I love gold and can see that wonderful glittery color a mile away. Goodwill has had a ton of brass lately with that wonderful gold luster that just yells my name.
I found some really super treasures this week too. I thought this was a gorgeous wall sconce too. Really large and very heavy. Love, love, love.
I needed a clock for my desk and of course if it was gold and lucite, then it had to be mine.

This ships candle holder was a super fun find. You know about these. They were originally used on ships.
See the candle part swivels. You could sit it on a table and if the ship swayed the candle would swing back and forth and stay perfectly upright.
See, it swivels this way too. Plus, see the hook, it could hang on the wall and if the ship rocked, the candle just rocked back and forth but always was straight. I was so thrilled when I found this.
Goodwill is still one of my favorite shopping places and each of these special treasures were $2.99 with 25% off for Sr. Day. What kind of a bargain is that!!!
