Brass or Crystal

If you’ve been following along, then you know that I have been on a brass/gold kick “big time”.  I have brass all over the house and I have been spray painting everything in sight gold.  However, I do love crystal too.  When I was rearranging the china cabinet the other day, I realized I hadn’t used these crystal candlesticks in a very long time.

These are really heavy and the twisted pattern on the stems is exquisite.  This is by far my favorite pair of candlesticks.

I thought doing an all black and white room looked so fresh and inviting.  I placed white tulips and a marble box on top of the books and a marble orb in the tray.

I loved the brass and tangerine, but with our temperatures reaching 113 and above,

the all black and white just looks “cool”.

So are you brass/gold or crystal, or do you like both like me.
