Fall Powder Room Refresh. I love our little half bath downstairs. It’s wonderful to have a bathroom on the first floor. It’s strictly utilitarian, but I’ve occasionally had fun sprucing it up. When we bought the house 7 years ago, it still had the original 12-year-old white linoleum. We had some wood flooring left over, so we replaced the linoleum and called it good.
The first time I did a makeover was my $50 makeover a couple of years ago. I painted the back wall, added a shelf, new accessories and it changed the entire room.
This is what it had looked like befoe. Just a couple accessories, a mirror on the wall and done.
Now that fall is around the corner, I thought it would be fun to switch things up a little. I’ve had this fun rabbit painting for years, so a little whimsey seemed like the right idea.
It’s so hard to get a good picture of the rabbit back in this corner. The light doesn’t do it justice, but it is really fun and pretty. I also swapped out a few accessories.
The sink is recessed on the corner. All I did here was add a new hand towel.
This is fun for a change and I love the whimsey of it all.
I love it. I really like your vignettes and sense of balance and color coordination.
I really like the rabbit painting on the black wall and the hand towel is perfect.
