Welcome to my 2024 Christmas Home Tour. This year, we are doing things differently, so my decorating is a little less than usual. My Daughter, Son-in-law, Son, and I are all going to Maui on the 8th of December. This fun family trip is something we have been planning for a while, so I am super excited. I still want to have a fun Christmas when we get back, so I put up the basics. Grab something to drink and let me show you around.
Today, I am joining a great group of ladies who are sharing their home tours hosted by Cindy @ CountyRoad407.
When you enter our home you walk right into the living and dining area. This two-story wall opposite the seating area is where I added a small console to serve as our entry. A few tinsel trees and a reindeer is about all the chest needs. I replaced the painting I usually have with my horse painting. It’s my favorite.
The large ficus tree is usually in the front window, but I had to move it here to make room for the Christmas Tree. I like how it looks in this space too.
As you can see, I used my small 7ft. pencil tree this year. It is really tiny, but it still says Christmas to me.
I went a little over the top with ornaments. Since the tree is small I thought it needed tons of glitz.
Of course, I always include my favorite Doves. These are to remind us of our loved ones spending Christmas in Heaven.
The room’s colors are neutral, mostly beige, cream, and camel.
A simple Santa and reindeer for the coffee table, and just a few pillows for the sofa.
The corner end table holds my fun sock reindeer.
The other end of the room is the dining area. My Carolers took center stage on the table.
Since we all spend a lot of time in the kitchen, it got a bit of Christmas next.
This area by the stove gets a few of my favorite things each year.
A tray filled with my little red truck and fun Santa are perfect for the island.
and the laundry room needed some Christmas Cheer too.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I love having company. Now be sure to check out all the other ladies on the tour. I am positive each home will inspire you.
If you came over from Thistle Key Lane, welcome. Her kitchen and breakfast nook are stunning and she amazes me with her gorgeous decor. I know you will love it as much as I do. Then be sure to check out how Carol @ Bluesky at Home has added just the perfect Christmas touches to her Master Bedroom. Marty,
It was a lovely tour as always. Have a blessed Christmas.
Miss Marty I am in LOVE with your tree this year. The little white birds are so pretty. The tour carolers in your table centerpiece are quite charming too. Truly an inspiring tour!
Marty, what a beautiful Christmas home tour, so inspiring and that horse picture in your dining room area is amazing! Happy Holidays!
Your home is so beautifully decorated for Christmas. You did such a beautiful job with your tree.
Every thing is so inspiring.
Is your kitchen Stove a Samsung ? If so, how do you clean the top, Have you had any problems with the glass scratching ?
Marty, I love your horse picture too. Your teee is a lovely combination of neutral and looks perfect in your front window. Your sweet little animals reflect the Christmas spirit. Merry Christmas and enjoy your lovely home.
I think your smaller tree is elegant and perfect in your window. We sometimes put up a smaller tree and on a table. The joy of that is picking the favorite ornaments to use. Mixiing life up is part of living. Happy Holidays, Sandi
Marty, I have a smaller tree also and yours is lovely. Your reindeer are so cute and I love that you decorated your laundry room–pinned! Wishing you a joyous Christmas season, Cecilia @ My Thrift Store Addiction
So beautiful and elegant, Marty. Love the tree and the doves. Have a wonderful trip this month! Happy Christmas!!
Beautiful combination of Christmas throughout the house. So glad you still have the same washer dryer set. It’s such a big deal and expense to replace them. One of my friends bought an Amana that was almost the same.
But – I am so excited about your trip to Maui ! Have a great time with your family.
iYour home looks lovely Marty. I love the doves, what a great touch! Have a wonderful time in Hawaii & Merry Christmas. XO- MaryJo
Your home looks lovely in it’s Christmas finery!

Merry Christmas, Marty. I love all of your Christmas decorations. The little carolers on the dining room table are so sweet. May the season be happy and healthy.
I love how you’re going on a fantabulous trip yet “put up the basics”! That seems more than the basics. It’s all so beautiful. Each space has so much to look at and I love every single table centerpiece. Thank you so much for sharing it with us and joining us. Have a great trip! I guess you’ll be doing the hula dance while we wish for snow! 😉 pinned
