I have reached the point in my small house where I can’t add one more thing. If something comes in then something has to go. I can upgrade and that’s about it, but that makes it even more fun, trying to find something you love even more than what you have. Now I am really picky, so I don’t just replace to replace, I have to really, really , really love it.
Case in point, my new lamp for the family room. I have been wanting to upgrade the one on this table for quite a while, and I finally found one I absolutely love.
Gorgeous turned wood column.
Don’t you love the finish, so many different colors shinning through.
A great size and I love the simple oatmeal linen barrel shade.
See how well it coordinates with the rooster lamp on the other side. Totally different, but still a little rustic.
This is the one I had here previously. I have had this poor thing for years and years and it has been painted tons of colors. Time for it to retire.
I am thrilled with my new find. Stein Mart for $39.99. Bloggers are just the best. I mentioned how much I liked a lamp that Moni from Zu Haus at Home had on her new end table and she told me she got it at Stein Mart. Sure enough they had some great styles to choose from.
I couldn’t be happier, I think it is a great find.
Doesn’t it make you feel really good when you find something at a wonderful price that you really like?
