New Accessories for My Office

OK, I use that term really, really loosely. I don’t have an office. I use the buffet in the breakfast room as my desk and call that my office.

See, up against the window. The buffet has drop leaf sides that I leave up for a really generous work space, so it does function.

There, a little closer. Well anyway, when I added the checks to the family/breakfast area, that called for a few accessory changes, so my “desk” got a couple of new additions too.

I rearranged the desk orgaizer and the speakers so I could have a place to keep my Ipad and plug it in, then I added some greener.

An ivy topiary, boxwood sphere and a little pot that I made with Dollar Tree plants. The scales adds a little interest to the mix and height to the little clay pot.

Actually, this functions really well as my office and I can still be in the middle of everything.

You know how it goes, you can never stop with just one spot, so I changed up the island too. Love my pig and of course fruit is always fabulous.

I read a tip a while back and that is to stick wood skewers in the bottom of your large fruit and then you can push the end of the skewer into your foam and keep your fruit arranged perfectly all the time. It can’t fall out.
Pretty clever don’t you think?
