A Little Summer Green/White/Brown

I showed you some of my fabrics that I was trying out for a little bit of a summer change to the living room and I finally settled on one. Nice and simple and just green/white and a touch of brown. You can see all of my trials here.

The green pillows I already had, so just the two florals and the two geometrics are new. Fresh Summer Green.

Then just when I thought it was done, I have another change. I always look at GW for feather pillow forms, and I hit the jackpot. I needed several for myself and some for a friend and today I found 6. These four,

These two chocolate ones. They are all out of the same dupoini silk and beautifully made. Now I can’t use the pink and purple colors at all in my house, but I will definitely use the inserts. The chocolate ones are fabulous with my new pillows for a totally new and different look again. Gotta love it.

See how fun this is. A little fabric and a couple of pillows from GW and I can play all day.

Now let’s get to the final reveal. I just couldn’t help myself, I just kept adding to the mix. I adore checks, so when I found two tableclothes at only $12.95 each, I just couldn’t resist. One was a round tablecloth and the other was a 60 x 110 rectangular size. That’s a huge tablecloth, so I can cut that one up and make several things out of it.

I love the check added to the mix. So fun.

Using the round tablecloth on the table and making one sofa pillow, changes the entire look and feel again.

I cut the huge rectangular tablecloth up for the pillow and I made a really sinple table runner for the dining table.

I think the check gives the room a little bit of a country french look.

So what do you think? What would be your favorite of all three looks. With all three, the accessories stayed the same, just the pillows changed. Also just as a little FIY. I make all of my pillows with either a pocket back or a zipper, so I just change the covers and don’t have to store all of the pillow forms. That way I can have dozens and it doesn’t take up any more space than just one storage tub in the garage.
