Now everyone loves a little jewelry and bling and I definitely think every room needs some. I got a box in the mail and I just squealed with delight. It was filled with incredible bling.
Can you see it?
It came in this box, do you know what it is?
Does this help?
M hubby is doing something, can you figure it out now?
You got it, Pfister heard that I was redoing the hall bathroom and they sent me this fabulous faucet. It is the Marielle Mini Wide-Spread, Model # GT4MOBC. It has the most graceful and elegant lines and the finish and attention to every detail is impeccable. I love, love, love it. My hubby says it is one of the easiest he has ever installed and the quality is excellent.
This style of the faucet totally compliments the rest of the decor, a little antique and old world.
This is the really bad and leaking builder basic that was here. I think the faucet helps set the style of a room and this one did nothing for style.
If you didn’t see the whole redo, I removed the medecine cabinet, patched the drywall and installed a towel bar and a thrifty painting from goodwill. Such a huge improvement to the room. I also did a tutorial on how I refinished the mirror. You can see both of those tutorials here.
I added new plush thrifty towels I found at Ross and another small goodwill painting above them. The counter accessories add a little frenchy charm.
The shower curtain was made from leftover fabric from the familyroom drapes and hung from the ceiling. I used a double rod with a shower curtain liner hanging behind this one. A favorite painting in an antique frame and some transferware plates finish off the accessories.
I also gave you a tutorial on how to make the tank shelf here.
Do you remember, this is what I started with. The jungle had to go.
For a little over $100 I think it is an amazing transformation. The faucet was the final missing link. It definitely is the jewelry and bling the room needed. I am so pleased with it and can’t thank Pfister enough.
Now I feel like the bathroom reflects the style I am trying to achieve in my home. I am really pleased with the way it turned out. It definitely proves that you can create a stylish look on a strict budget with a few DIY projects and shopping the house.
