My name is Melissa.
And, I share a little bit of my life over at DaisyMaeBelle.
I wish that I could have you over to my real house.
We could spend the day getting to know one another. . .
We could sit here on my front porch
and, enjoy some sweet tea.
(I am a Southern girl.)
I could show you how to make burlap bows. . .
moss birds,
and no sew burlap table runners.
And, you could share your latest craft projects with me.
I could share some of my painted furniture pieces. . .
with Chalk Paint,
and milk paint.
I could share about my 3 girls,
Daisy, Anna Belle and Lila Mae.
(I told you I was a Southern girl!)
And, our sweet dog, Zuzu.
And, you could tell me all about your family.
I’d step inside and whip up a quick fudge pie.
And, you could share your secret family recipes with me.
I could take you inside,
and, show you my silver platter gallery wall,
the new rug for our family room,
and, my kitchen.
We could finish up the day here in my backyard.
Roasting hot dogs over the fire.
Or, relaxing here on my newly painted chairs,
on my “redneck” deck.
It sure would be fun!
