Time for Show Off and Inspire and this week I have the pleasure of getting to brag a little about Liz at Savvy Seasons by Liz. If you don’t follow her blog (you definitely should), then you have missed so much. She has a fabulous home and decorates every nook and corner with the most wonderful vignettes and displays. Her style is a little Tuscan and a little Shabby Chic and she combines the two together with such ingenius creativity. I can’t even begin to think up all the projects she does, but I sure love to copy her. She is also such a charming person, and cute as a bug, plus she shares all of her wonderful knowledge with video tutorials (like she is doing here.) Please welcome her and then go follow her, you really don’t ever want to miss a post.
Hello friends! Today, I am guest posting for Marty. Thank you
so much Marty for allowing me to share this post with your readers. 🙂
So, who wants to see how to make a *Springtime Bird
Arrangement* for your home?
Spring is such a beautiful time of year.
I always know spring is right around the corner when the birds
are chirping and flying about like crazy. I was inspired to come up with
a fun bird arrangement in honor of spring.
I grabbed my car keys and drove to Hobby Lobby on
the H U N T for spring inspired items.
I made two arrangements.
I placed one on a candle holder for height, the other
arrangement I sat on a stack of books.
I purchased 2 pots, 2 Deco Balls, a bag of Spanish
Moss (green colored), 2 birds, a pack of faux bird eggs, and lastly, 2
floral picks.
I tried to make the birds look like finials on top of the Deco
Balls. The picture below was my inspiration.

A project always starts with an idea, right?
Operation: Fill Space
I moved the flat screen TV from our Entertainment
Unit to another spot in the room, so I had this bare open space to work
with.
This is how I filled it in….
If you would like to watch the tutorial on how I created this
look, pull up a chair and grab a cup of coffee. 🙂 I will take you to
the store with me, back home to go over the items purchased
and the cost of them, and then the step by
step instructions.
Thanks for stopping by, and thank you Marty for allowing me to
share, this was so much fun! XOXO ~Liz
