Well, not live “Little Fat Italians”, but the fun faux kind. I love surprises and ones that are from a loved one is always super special.
My youngest son has lunch at a fun Italian Deli often and he said they have a whole wall full of these little guys, all different, but this is the one he liked and it made him think of me. Isn’t he the cutest. I need to get some chalk so I can write a message on it. He dropped him off on his way home from work and surprised me. Fun, fun, fun.
He works great with my scales vignette. I think he will work great with anything.
Three different antique scales, one filled with fruit.
An egg scales, holding a wooden egg.
A candy scale holding some faux candy candles.
It’s always fun to play with something new.
My second treasure today is this fun brass lamp. GW came through again. This is really heavy and well made, great find for $7.99. This will be perfect on the desk for my oldest son from Oregon while he is here. It won’t take up much room and will give him light right where he wants it.
So, have you received any new treasures lately. Always fun to play with something new, and I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to have all three of my children in the same town for a while. I am loving every minute of it and watching them laugh and joke, makes my heart sing.
