How’s your check list going. This is crunch time for me. Seems I don’t get near as much done as I use to, and surely it couldn’t be that I am getting older. he-he I am still filling in working for a friend 3 days a week and also trying to keep up with my volunteer work, and get everything ready so I can visit with all these precious people and my son and grandson that will be her this coming weekend. All of my children together as I said for the first time in 15 years for Christmas. I am so excited, I can hardly wait.
So, I’ve been busy getting all the perfect presents picked out and wrapped.
Finding super fun things to go in their stockings.
Making lots of cookie plates for neighbors and friends.
Stocking the freezer section of the fridge in the laundry room with Date, Banana and Pumpkin bread, assorted cookies – chocolate chip, chocolate crackles and sugar. An extra lasagna is made too. I still have 2 more batches of cookies to make, and pies of course for the big meals.
Everything is under the tree, just waiting for the Big Day.
Having all the family together is such a Blessing and so hard to do when everyone lives so far away from each other. I want this special Christmas to be filled with tons of good food, laughter, memories and of course Love as we gather to celebrate the most wonderful present of all, the birth of Jesus. How wonderful to all be together for Church Christmas Eve and to be able to praise the Lord for this precious gift of time together.
I hope you are able to spend time with your loved ones and make special memories as you share the Blessings of the Christmas season.
